Getting to know more about the DSWD programs and kids

          In our GIN Education, the kids that we were helping was from the DSWD (Department of Social and Welfare Development). Some of the kids from DSWD had severe problems like family problems and others. To handle them with the proper care, we decided that we have to know more about these kids to be able to help them better.

          To do that, we have invited the ones who were in charge of the DSWD programs to give us a short background of the programs and the children. This was a short session but it was really a good time for us to learn about different problems that the children were undergoing. I have realized that I have to make more efforts to help them in a more appropriate way. I also thought that it was a meaningful time to know about what the children in our community was facing as of the moment.
