Model United Nations is a simulation of the real United Nations. Before this Model United Nations Assembly, I have learned many things about the MUN during the clubs at our school. We learned different things such as writing a resolution, making an opening speech, the parliamentary procedures and everything. At first, I just joined without knowing what it was about but it was really interesting once I began to know more about it.
In this conference, I was to represent Indonesia in the Political Committee. I was really nervous to be there because the venue was big and there were a lot of people. I knew that I was really afraid of speaking in front of a lot of people and I also knew that I really had to overcome it in this conference. However, I was still not able to speak up a lot because there were so many good speakers in the conference. I regretted in the end that I was not able to speak up but this conference really developed so much of my interest for MUN. I am really determined to do better in the next conferences and I want to know more about MUN.
